Update of the Class Positions

Class Positions

The top three positions in each class as of the 11-hour point:
A6 class;
1st, #3, Lapidus Racing, McLaren MP4-12C (1st overall) [a perfect run]
2nd, #4, Russian Dancing Bears Motorsport, Ferrari F458 Italia GT3, -20 laps [unfortunate electronic problems scuttled their chase of the leader]
3rd, #2, Car Collection Motorsport, Porsche 997 GT3 Cup, -29 laps [problems in early hours, ok now]
997 class;
1st, #7, ARC Bratislava, Porsche 997 GT3 Cup (2nd overall) [some stunning drives by Mato Konopka and Jaap van Lagen]
2nd, #9, B2F Competition, Porsche 997 GT3 Cup, -23 laps [not a real charger, but working up through attrition]
3rd, #5, Car Collection Motorsport, Porsche 997 GT3 Cup, -25 laps [was going well in the afternoon but hit delays recently]
SP2 class;
1st, #17, Bonk Motorsport, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (3rd overall) [a very good drive after an unsteady start]
2nd, #12, Las Moras Racing, Renault Megane Trophy, -11 laps [very competitive overall in the first few hours]
3rd #16, GC Automobiles, GC GCA0-V8, -21 laps [some quick periods mixed with too many stops]
A3T class;
1st, #32, Russian Teddy Bears Motorsport, Seat Leon Supercopa (5th overall) [locally based team is doing very well, mostly untroubled]
2nd, #1, Sunred, Seat Leon Supercopa, -11 laps [surprisingly many problems for the very fast factory backed team]
3rd, #31, RCA Racing, Seat Leon Supercopa, -12 laps [threatening for 2nd, would be a real upset]
SP3 class;
1st, #18, Bonk Motorsport, BMW M3 (6th overall) [not very dramatic, typical solid endurance effort from this experienced team]
2nd, #20, Team Partl Motorsport, BMW M3, -6 laps [the early leader and the fastest car in the class is in a good recovery mode]
3rd, #21, Cor Euser Racing, Lotus Evora, -7 laps [metronomic, with one or two glitches]
A2 class;
1st, #46, Schirra Motoring, Mini Cooper John Cooper Works (7th overall) [keeping to a perfect schedule]
2nd, #42, Besaplast Racing Team, Mini Cooper S, -5 laps [has only had 1 or 2 delays, but it is enough to keep it in second in this very large class]
3rd, #45, Team Partl Motorsport, Mini Cooper John Cooper Works, -11 laps [have probably found their equilibrium spot]
A5 class;
1st, #48, Motionsport, Lotus Elise, (12th overall) [very dominant]
2nd, #26, Sorg Rennsport, BMW Z4 M Coupe, -15 laps [steady if a tad slow]
3rd, #23, Gambler Racing, BMW E46 M3, -27 laps [had been positioned for second in class until some problems hit]
D1 class;
1st, #54, Las Moras Racing, BMW 123d (23rd overall) [good but unexciting run]
2nd, #53, Black Motorsport, Seat Leon 1.9 TDI, -2 laps [trying hard to challenge]
3rd, #56, TTC Racing, Volkswagen Golf IV 1.9 TDI, -32 laps [out of the running for any advancement]
A4 class;
1st, #27, Küpper Racing, BMW E46 M3 (41st overall) [even they are troubled in a class that no one seems to want to win]
2nd, #28, Ymor Racing, BMW Z3 M Coupe [which is no more racing unfortunately]
3rd, #29, Sorg Rennsport, BMW 130i, [-1 light year behind, but moving again. They tenaciously replaced their engine. Anyone spectators with a similar car
may want to check their engine compartment before leaving the car park]
996 class;
The lone car entered here was moved into 997 category before the start.
